I offer a full sample edit of up to 800 words at no cost and with no obligation. When I return this edit, I will provide a personalized rate quote and turnaround-time estimate. All edits/samples are done in Word with Track Changes enabled. You will be able to identify, and accept or reject, every change.

Rates:
My rates are tailored to the individual manuscript. Simple proofreading of a cleanly-written fiction document starts at $0.010/word; thorough editing typically ranges from $0.0140 - 0.0425/word. All quotes are personalized according to the amount and type of editing I anticipate for a given submission.
I offer a discount for second editing pass for a new client's first manuscript. In addition to ensuring that the edited/revised text reads smoothly and any issues have been addressed, a second pass makes sure no errors (typos, continuity, etc) have been introduced in the editing process. It also allows me to see which of my suggestions worked for you and which didn't, and to hopefully improve my services for your next manuscript.
